Playful Learning is looking for submissions in all areas relating to playful learning in adult education including – but not limited to – higher and further education, playful workplaces, and lifelong learning.

Playful Learning is pitched at the intersection of learning and play for adults. Playful in approach and outlook, yet underpinned by robust research and working practices, we provide a space where teachers, researchers and students can play, learn and think together. A space to meet other playful people and be inspired by talks, workshops, activities and events. Based in the heart of Manchester, we also explore some of the city’s playful spaces with evening activities continuing the fun and conversations after the formal programme ends.

Our ethos is to break the traditional conference mould, and programme a range of different types of talks and activities, from research paper discussions to live gaming roleplay events.

Proposers for any session will be invited to publish their work in a peer reviewed publication after the conference: you can indicate an interest in the submission form below.

The deadline for submission is 12th February 2018. Visit our website to submit your abstract!
